I don't know that my absolute favorite artist has a bad song. But here are a few songs I hate by artists that I love:
Bloc Party (original lineup/first 4 albums): 3 x 3. Not sure why, just feels anxious in a bad way? Always a skip for me.
Keane: Ishin Denshin (You've Got To Help Yourself). This is a cover from an EP so maybe too deep of a cut, but man do I hate this track. Just feels cloying and awkward. Like they were trying to recreate the original but were too in awe of it.
Peter Bjorn and John: The Feeling. The first track from their true followup to Writer's Block. Just feels like it's a song that's weird for the sake of being weird.

I think a significant part of this problem is that, from what we can see in the photo, they 100% should have pulled forward so that they didn't entirely block the sidewalk. Someone coming through there on a wheelchair or with a stroller would have a real bad time. It also looks like it's out in the road a little, which is very inconsiderate as well.

Well yeah, but what this image doesn't mention is what would happen to the shareholders if we had paid leave for all in the US 😰 /j

So what's the main advantage of this over F-Droid? Theoretically more secure?

To this day, I love to suggest my tech friend switch to Lindows as a joke. Still kills if they get it, otherwise I have to explain "so it's this old Linux distribution..."

I know there is a wide variety of times but I feel like 2/3rds of the farmer's markets near me are at inconvenient times for me. "3-7PM on a weekday" nope, "8AM-12PM on sunday" MAYBE if I wake up early and am feeling adventurous.

Lol, right? I still think PublicSource and Pittsburgh Union Progress are good.
Also a good reminder that the Post Gazette has been on strike WAY too long. Ownership should never be forgiven for this. Sell the damn paper.

Genuinely, this could be good marketing for the TV show that Amazon could do - would just have to make it clear somehow that Mr. House wasn't involved in the show.

Good on ya! I got mine a few years back at 27 and haven't had a single regret. Taking an active role in family planning and making sure your partner(s) don't need to deal with the side effects of birth control is awesome.
Whether it be to do your job, get your schoolwork done, clean your house, work on your creative passion, etc. Bonus points if you're someone without reasonable self-control so saying something like "I can only have a cookie after I do this/while I do this" doesn't work for you and you're just going to eat the cookie and not do it.
Doing some research on things that I will absolutely never do. Let's say a nefarious party wanted to download a video from Youtube, say, an episode of the TV show Community. The downloaders I have researched for Linux (Youtube Downloader Plus + Parabolic) will not let me download any episodes that have DRM. Are there any that DO let you do so, preferably while removing the DRM so it could be used on Jellyfish or Plex?
Hey all, Just curious - what are the news outlets you like? Obviously not thinking about the paper being struck right now. Is there much of a difference in quality/trustworthiness of the TV news stations? Otherwise, I've been checking our PublicSource and Pittsburgh Union Progress.
(technically) VAMOS COLUMBUS, DON'T GIVE UP ANY STUPID GOALS!
Had been reported before but is now official, a mutual contract termination. Thankful for him helping us win an MLS Cup, but this seems like the right move for all parties, sadly. ~~Catch him signing in Romania to be close to his idol Andrew Tate.~~ [Source](https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/columbus-crew-eloy-room-reach-mutual-contract-termination)~~___~~
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.world/post/1580433 A slightly rainy night here in Pittsburgh but a delicious 2-0 over Detroit. Hounds solidifying their place as #1 in the USL Championship (with Sacramento Republic 3 points down but a game in hand).
Bob Lilley for Manager of the Year
How's everyone feeling? This game is a massive question mark for me. I can't get a good read on how Portland is this year, plus Nancy and Cucho being out makes this game very intriguing. Part of me says, if we've got Morris ready to go, throw him in there and move Matan in for Cucho - but if he's not available I could also see swapping JRR in for Cucho (though they're dramatically different players).
As seen at the Elliston Puffin Viewing Site. Phenomenal time there, I loved seeing these little goof balls go about their days.
Hi all. My partner saw online about Costco having big packs of Morningstar Farms Chik Patties/Grillers/etc. but we haven't been able to find it at our local Costco in Pittsburgh. Wondering if this a regional thing or if it might be an equivalent to Aldi's "Special Finds"? Any input would be appreciated!
Hey y'all, allow me to be the first to do an "asking for advice" post on here. Anyone have recommendations for realtors that are based in/specifically focus on the City of Pittsburgh? I feel like I've seen way too many who are like "Pittsburgh Realtor!!! Based in Cranberry Township (or other far out suburb/exurb)" and that I want to avoid that hassle. We have to live inside the city limits due to my partner's job with the city (and honestly, we'd probably be living in the city anyways). Looking primarily at neighborhoods in the South Side with good public transit options. Any advice is appreciated!
