Syed Saddiq said Puteri Wangsa assemblyan Amira Aisya, who is Muda deputy president, would act as the president following the decision made by the party’s leadership.
Might be the first woman political party president.
>Mohd Azizi is the third Opposition MP to declare support to the Anwar administration after Labuan MP Datuk Suhaili Abd Rahman and Kuala Kangsar MP Datuk Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid, who are both also from Bersatu.

It's a bad move to involuntarily involve school kids for such complex politic, as it will easily end up with anti-semitic sentiment. A shameful display by the Madani government.

“In the case of (candidates from) other parties, they will be the opposition and I think it will be difficult for them to bring development here, but if our candidate wins, the Pahang government is under BN.
“We (BN) can continue to work to help the people here. If the opposition wins, the candidate will not be able to do this,” he told reporters while accompanying Amizar to campaign at Felda Chemomoi here today.

The motion on the 12th Malaysia Plan Mid-Term Review (12MP MTR) was passed with a majority voice vote in the Dewan Rakyat today, without any opposition MPs in the hall who staged a walkout during the winding up speech by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
With the exception of Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Muda-Muar), all the MPs from the Opposition bloc walked out of the house due to their dissatisfaction over Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul’s order for Datuk Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (PN-Putrajaya) to leave the hall for disrupting the winding up session by Anwar, who is also the minister of finance.
Opposition that failed to oppose.

While Pulai win with quite a big majority, PN in Simpang Jeram seems to be catching up. Low voter turnout likely due to two thing: the election having low to no impact to the status quo, so out of state people didn't go back to vote, or; people just doesn't bother to vote because of BN+PH union.
Whatever the case is, they need to work it out for the next 4 years.

Unfortunately the turnout isn't that good, hope the result is good either way.
