That ratio seems off? 49 out of 50 people wished they could have children? I highly doubt that. If going by your logic you say that 1/10th of 1/5th of folks are child free not by choice. Say out of 50 people that math equals 1 person per 50 folks regret not being able to have kids.

The food is diner food. Not bad for what you pay for it. Tastes amazing when drunk or high. It's a staple in the Midwest and the South!

Great game, but not sure it needs an HD remake.

This would lead to some very large cost savings if AI could compress video/audio even better than current compression algorithms. Data borders unite!

Any possibility of them releasing a gesture typing library with this? I can't seem to find one in the wild.

  • Why there aren't ad blocking apps on Google Play
  • DM_Gold DM_Gold 1y ago 100%

There is no need for an actual installed adblocker. You can simply change system wide DNS to black ads. You can really use any DNS you choose, but I'd suggest mullvads DNS.

    https://mullvad.net/en/help/dns-over-https-and-dns-over-tls/

Look for "private DNS" on your phone, or switch it on your browser if on desktop.

I like OpenCritic for game reviews now. It's a site that aggregates a lot of reviews into one site. If not there I always trust steam reviews of games.

Y'all need to start sorting by top posts the past 6 hours. Changed Lemmy for me. Right now the algorithm for hot and active is too stale.

I use Notion for organizing my DnD campaign. Love how this is looking so far. I'll add a feature request for linking to other pages, and implementation of a table in each note. Thanks for your work!

For instance say I post a guide on how to do something related to piracy...should I be concerned that my IP is being logged? I understand if it is logged it is most likely saved on the instance server I'm posting on. What I'm asking is if I should be constantly using a VPN while browsing or posting on instances?

So say I make an account on lemmy.world and post a bunch of stupid comments around other instances then decide to delete my account because I'm ashamed of them. After I delete my account, a copy of all those comments I made on other instances remain on those instances as a "shadow copy." There isn't any way to actually delete them all. The copies of the comments/posts on your home instance will be deleted tldr: Don't say stupid shit on other instances you'll regret later! They never leave that instance! Why YSK: so you can think carefully about what to comment and post. I migrated from beehaw. You can see my previous post history here: [DM_Gold@beehaw.org](https://beehaw.org/u/DM_Gold)
