It was suggested to cross post this here. Not nearly as good as the spider mech in the movie, but it's where I got the inspiration from. The title song from the movie is still on my play list!

I've only ever seen the first movie. You're telling me there's a series?
And I'll look for the community.

Oh I get it, thank you! No I just drew it and redrew many parts again and again until I got the shapes I wanted. Using simple shapes and trying to use depth with lighting is probably what makes it look good.

What do you mean by construction? I used references for the colors of the mech. In this case I found some big worn out yellow machines to pull my pallet from.
Loved the show, this is my interpretation of the spider mech in the third act. Not as cool as the one from the show, but the closest I've ever gotten in my style.

Alright you little shit, I've been making my play world pretty because of you! All week I've just been cleaning up belt lines.
This is your fault!!!
Sometimes the fork in the road is of our own making, voluntarily or not.

Thank you! I love drawing bean shapes for some reason. Probably head trauma.
In my youth I had a 2nd Gen Eclipse and I loved it! It got me more than a few dates. I always wanted more from Mitsubishi and planned to buy whatever their fastest car was as I got older and had money. Sadly the company fell apart (in my opinion), but watching this reminded me of what I loved about their products back in the day! That Lancer!! Wow.

Thank you!
I really started progressing this year when I began drawing daily. Getting a phone with a good stylus helped remove barriers as I can draw anywhere. The second one was drawn on the phone.
I've been on and off drawing since I was little but never really met much progress. After meeting Jim Lee at a comic con where he talked about needing to draw daily to get better I decided to get this phone so I could do that. Not a huge fan of Samsung but love being able to draw anywhere.

Amazing!
Like babies first steps, but with a baby dragon! Here in trying to have a more dynamic and camera filling pose. I feel like most of my poses feel fairly static or plain from a camera angle perspective. Critiques?

A better pilot. My son is about a quarter second faster than my fastest time on Monza and other tracks. I gotta get gud and catch him!

Mid engine Porsche sounds like it could be a fantastic combination! If I were 12 again I'd totally have a poster of this on my wall.
I'm trying to do distressed metal, particularly copper. How did I do? Critiques or advice?
Ketchup crisis? Jazzy the giraffe has you covered!
Several years ago my daughter asked me to draw her a tattoo. I made a few attempts but wasn't confident in my work at all. After the time I've spent here I decided to give it a go and we both really like the result. She said she'll get it tattooed. I'm excited!
These young men are quite entertaining to watch. And their track day advice is pretty great! Stuff I wish I knew before my first track day.
