#### Better image search with AI-generated images detection Last week we got quite clear and [direct feedback](https://kagifeedback.org/d/4972-ability-to-filter-out-obvious-ai-image-websites-from-image-search) that we need to do something about AI-generated images that started creeping up in the image search. You asked for it and we delivered! We are enhancing our image search with a new ranking algorithm and an AI image filter. These updates prioritise authentic, human-created images and downrank AI-generated content. Users can also opt to exclude AI-generated images entirely. ### Announcements Starting from **March 26th**, we will **begin including localized sales tax for all new customers** who subscribe on or after this date. Starting from **April 9th, all existing customers who qualify for sales tax/VAT will see localized sales tax/VAT added to their monthly invoice in USD**, on top of their current subscription fee. This adjustment will appear on your next invoice on or after April 9th, with no immediate extra charge. If you are paying with an **alternative method via Paypal, OpenNode, or any other non-Stripe provider**: You will be prompted to pick a sales tax region the next time you go to purchase credit. Has anyone had luck using a search widget on their home screen that connects to kagi? A home screen search bar is the fastest way, and one of the most frequent ways the to connect, but i haven't found any android search widget that works.

They're obviously related to Kagi and I've been posting the last few but I'm not 100% sure they belong here because every Kagi user already gets that little bell in the top right when a new one is out. OTOH, some of the changes are worthy of discussion. What do you think?
Due to the lack of innovation, there wasn't really a community where discussion and news about alternative search engines would fit, so I created one. I was introduced to Kagi by an IRL friend of mine and was initially veeery sceptical of a paid search engine. You can probably relate. Fast forward a few months, I gave it a trial and was very pleasantly surprised. So much so that I'm now a subscriber and use it on all my devices. What's your experience like?
