JPEG XL would allow me to serve you the same quality at least twice as fast 😉

If you want a lower file size you can champion support for JPEG XL so I don't have to choose between an insane 16bit PNG or a crushed 8bit jpg https://jpegxl.info/

there actually is a legitimate service that landlords provide.
one I don't want to pay for, but also one they don't actually give me. My apartment is still missing several doors and I've been here for a year now. They don't give a fuck. You're also setting it up as if I have a choice but to be serviced. I don't. I don't earn enough money for my bank to want to give me a loan, even if I wanted to be in debt, to buy even the shittiest house on the market here, so I don't have a choice but to live under the thumb of a landlord.

I am convinced that the bidet shills on reddit are bots. There's just no way that hundreds of thousands of people are suddenly interested in shitting appliances.

I'm not dodging your point, I'm rejecting it. It's victim blaming. I'm sorry you can't see past your nose, I'm gonna stop replying

From a safety perspective, pedestrians in a road is already a huge issue.
Olympic level mental gymnastics are required to believe that the pedestrian is the safety issue in regards to the hunk of rust flying past family homes.

v !!! POST-MIGRATION EDIT !!! v I shrunk the LVM partition by 5000 MiB and just ran dd overnight. I had to shuffle my boot-order around a bunch to find the one partition that would boot properly but it all just works. , , v !!! ORIGINAL POST !!! v Hi! My Proxmox machine has 3 disks (see pic). I wish to migrate sdc to a 2TB SSD. I have LXCs on all drives and I would really like to avoid having to restart from backups. I don't have any special configuration on my proxmox, it's pretty clean and basic. Is it safe to simply dd the old disk to the new one? I can't find an explicit answer to this question that doesn't also have a lot of other variables not relevant to me. If not, what else can I do?
I regularly post images to lemmy.world communities but that instance also regularly seemingly fails to actually federate the post on their side. What do I do when this happens? I can easily tell when it happens, because I can just look at my websites log and see that it isn't being spammed by lemmy requests. Do I delete it and repost it later? Does it eventually sort itself out? Something third entirely? One example is this post, which does not (at time of posting) exist on lemmy.world https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/27691379
