It all makes sense now. The single cat ladies have been enticing Haitian migrants with the plan to make them all transgender, just like Trump said.

Inside the 90s anime Martian Successor Nadesico, there is a 70s-era anime called Gekiganger III. Characters various levels of knowledgeable about, or fans of, the show. A single OVA episode was released in addition to the clips from within Nadesico.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I take some solace and knowing that Elon had minimal input with the original vehicles, and they were modeled after something that was designed by other companies.

Considering most anime is low effort schlock that contains episodic plots that get nowhere (and even linear narratives tend to progress at the speed of molasses), if somebody tells me they "like anime" without elaborating, I think less of them then if they told me they "like music."

I'd say Tesla in general became a disappointment. The Cybertruck was just the blister on top.

One of the benefits of Reddit is not requiring an email address, but it probably scrapes your IP address to make sure you don't spam or ban evade.
By contrast, Lemmy makes it really easy for bad actors to ban evade AND scrape way more of your data than Reddit had.
With that said, try an email generating service and you'll be on your way to using Lemmy however you want.

It's not difficult to hold two ideas simultaneously:
X is important (because people decided to make it that way)
X shouldn't be important (and wouldn't be, if people hadn't made it that way)

I hear it's something leftists talk about when they don't want to do things that they associate with being liberal

I was going to post this, after finally watching it and realizing it was an incredible video.
If this is the kind of post that gets downvoted around here, the community is cooked. Lurking Reddit is the better alternative, at least that place tends to let the cream rise to the top occasionally

Have you actually seen anybody change their minds, or are you just perceiving more pro Israel people?

Same people who say comedy is dead because they can't make edgy jokes, complain about a harmless joke

"'Do you want to have progress or do you want to be correct?"'
Well, now I know why this got the downvotes. Great video, btw.

I don't mind the content, but this guy starts the video by poisoning the well against himself. At least, when somebody describes using technology to launder drone strikes, that's what it does to me.

"Kamala is not American" is coming.
She spent several years in Canada, so we have Canadian yearbook photos. And if conservatives can say Barack Obama is not American, and anti-immigrant sentiment is rising, they will definitely do it about her.
If you don't feel like watching a two hour video about The Satanic Temple but still want info, [I'd recommend this Newsweek article](https://www.newsweek.com/orgies-harassment-fraud-satanic-temple-rocked-accusations-lawsuit-1644042). If you've already watched it, here are some additional comments regarding this video as provided by QueerSatanic on Reddit (slightly edited for formatting): On lawsuits > The chilling effect of The Satanic Temple suing Newsweek (and its reporter as an individual) for defamation over [the magazine's story in October 2021](https://www.newsweek.com/orgies-harassment-fraud-satanic-temple-rocked-accusations-lawsuit-1644042) can't be overstated. > >Everything has been dismissed except for the question of whether TST is a public or private figure (it's almost definitionally a public figure) and whether they were defamed by the article quoting someone about sexual abuse in the Temple; [all the other ~20 claims got tossed by the judge.](https://reason.com/volokh/2023/03/09/most-libel-claims-by-the-satanic-temple-against-newsweek-dismissed-but-not-claim-over-sexual-abuse-allegations/) > > But as Dead Domain's video showed, it's not like there is a paucity of evidence for the remaining claim, either. > >If you want to dig into the court docket for the Newsweek SLAPP, this is the magazine's last filing ([1](https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/63011247/93/the-satanic-temple-inc-v-newsweek-magazine-llc/))([2](https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/63011247/93/1/the-satanic-temple-inc-v-newsweek-magazine-llc/)), which TST handwaves away as "Internet hearsay" in their reply. On bigotry >Dead Domain may have been required to use that “I think it’s OK to hate Jews” clip because it’s the most infamous one and the one that has been addressed publicly at all. > >However, the beliefs on eugenics are so much worse, plus the casual racism and the praise of literal fascism. ([Examples](https://queersatanic.com/lucien-greaves-and-the-satanic-temple-have-a-lot-to-answer-for/#jump-to)). > >“[I went to Italy and got a fascist shirt, and I loved how clean that part of town was](https://queersatanic.com/lucien-greaves-and-the-satanic-temple-have-a-lot-to-answer-for/#case-for-fascism)” is something that made it into the video, but people still willing to give TST’s owner the benefit of doubt are basically saying they don’t care to learn how bad he actually was at the “young” age of 28, and they don’t need any proof of change other than not hearing those clips anymore. > >Fifteen years later at age 43, TST’s owner was still running his website called “Dysgenics . com”
This is part of a trilogy about X-Men by an unapologetically (but slightly covertly) leftist creator.
"Sneako was programmed [to be a bigot]. And the same people who programmed him want to program *you*." Featuring the systematic deconstruction of a single horrible social media star with pit stops along the way featuring a ton of other scumbags.
One of the more covert leftist channels in existence, haven't seen it mentioned on this sub yet
Skip to 38 minutes to hear about the bizarre state-run Brand Israel campaign, featuring Gal Gadot in Maxim. Or to 33 minutes for some great insight about how pinkwashing doesn't just distract, it also divides. Of course, the whole video is good too
Somewhat related to Substack's recent decision to allow Nazis onto their platform. Invidious link: https://inv.us.projectsegfau.lt/watch?v=P55t6eryY3g
