I think there's no time like the present for Special Council Jack Smith to initiate recusal proceedings against Judge Aileen Cannon.
It looks like he may soon (finally) be heading to serve his sentence. The three-judge panel gave him until May 17, 2024 to petition for an en banc review before the entire US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, but this is unlikely to succeed. The next stop is evidently the Supreme Court, where Chief Justice Roberts will be the ultimate decision maker whether the highest court will hear this case. As always, you can read the full decision [here](https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2024/05/bannon.pdf).
The bill passed **320-91**. In addition to the bill, GOP Representatives supported the deployment of the National Guard to stop the protests.

For all intents and purposes, I believe so. But one of the points that actually got a laugh in the oral arguments was how divided (ineffective) the Congress is.

It's only affecting some users on some servers at some times of the day. I've noticed it since the update on the 8th or 9th. Seemingly completely arbitrary.

I've applied for half-a-dozen private trackers, but they've all turned me down. Definitely seems counter to the entire idea of piracy IMO.

It may be the case that he intended to vote against certification, but only after the riots did he vote to certify. I can't find a vote from him to decertify, but if you can I'll throw him up there.

I know that this information is years old, but as the GOP attempts to pick their new nominee for Speaker of the House, I find it important to note that most of their potential candidates are ones who objected to the 2020 Presidential results in one or both of Arizona and Pennsylvania.

Jordan says House will hold next speaker vote at noon ET Thursday
House Republican supporters of a resolution to temporarily empower interim Speaker Patrick McHenry are working to maximize GOP votes and educate members about the effort. Florida Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, a chief Republican opponent of Jim Jordan’s speakership bid, said on Wednesday that the speaker designee would lose a “bigger chunk” of GOP floor votes on a third ballot. The 11-term South Florida congressman said he would “never” back Jordan for speaker.

It may not be the Jan 6th indictment birthday present I was hoping for, but further obstruction counts is fine I suppose!

It's no surprise that Smith identified Trump as a target of the investigation, but it's a sign that the probe is wrapping up and indictments may be issued as early as Friday.
(I swear I posted this earlier today but whatever)

Yes, the venue for this will be in DC and there will be zero chance of Justice Cannon presiding.

It's no surprise that Smith has identified Trump as a target of the probe, but it shows that the probe is wrapping up and charges have been considered. We may very well see 3 indictments (2 more) by the end of the summer.
Edit: grammar

It was gripping to finish my work day right when this segment began. I was 2 weeks of shows behind before the break, so I used that to catch up- and I'm glad I did!

Late fall/early winter- think October/November. If we're lucky in Missouri, we can get a good snow in November, and the weather is perfect for blue jeans and flannels. Spring is too humid and tumultuous and summer is a smoky sauna.

I've never been on one, but I can say that in KCMO, STL, and Rolla they're pretty well known. I've worked at companies which have sponsored float trips before.
