Which apps support both kbin an lenny

But i cant really use it to check the mastodon users. right?
I have been thinking which of the two should i use. If i understand fully i can still browse lemmy instances on kbin. And i can even check out mastodon users on it. If this is the case, why would anyone choose lemmy instead of kbin? I assume there must be another aspects i don't know of?

I have read somewhere that somebody could manage to make lemmy work like the reddit api. So they theoretically change it in the old reddit third party apps.
I would love to see infinity in the race. Loved it.
