There's a lot of correlation between highly intelligent people and executive dysfunction. One of the more common symptoms of ADHD in young people, is their voracious appetite for knowledge, especially regarding things that spark their interest. Like learning everything there is to know about Yo-yos. Or knitting. Or why that particular song tickles their brain.

QNAP. Their current offerings are solid performers.

I spent hours trying to get Epic to work with Lutris and it was a terrible pain. I wish I had tried Heroic months ago lol.

Hot tubs + drugs don't mix. Even alcohol is dangerous because the effect of the hot tub increases the effects. We bought a hot tub recently and they're are dozens of warnings about drugs/alcohol.
My recommendation to Elon would be to have a nice big dose and take a long dip.

Enjoy it! My wife and I played together for a long time. We played probably 1000 hours in Destiny together and they're some of the best memories I have. She passed away in August from cancer at 34 and I'm not sure if I'll play Destiny again.

I'm trying to expand my library of classic game/game-inspired music. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm including some music that I particularly enjoy for reference. [Aethernaut - Neo-SF strut](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgliv2t_fY4) from 2064: Read-Only Memories. [20XX](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiUHe9GDXYc) from 20XX. [Forest Mystery](https://youtu.be/jVADSbJJVYM) from World of Horror. A bit esoteric but it's wild. Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

I've had an Arizer Solo 2 and I daily a B0 ball vape. Just curious how it compares.
Never used Usenet before, so I'm not sure what else I need.
The last I heard, there was an unknown object of Thargoid origin heading towards the bubble at high speed. I was among the people watching and tracking it, but never heard what happened, or if anything ever did.
I run a Ubiquiti DMP at home and I want to help a relative manage their network. They're getting a Ubiquiti Dream Router. Should I set their network up under my account or can they set it up under their own account and share access to it? I don't pay for any Ubiquiti managed services. Any help would be appreciated!
I know there was an issue a while back with counterfeit batteries on places like Amazon. Is there a good place to buy 18650's?
Anyone have good places to watch for deals?
I've misplaced my BLF Q8 (it still exists), but I'm looking for a floody replacement that gets silly bright and takes 4x18650's (or better) .
I have Mullvad and my torrent app isn't set to split tunnel. Is there any way to verify that traffic is going through Mullvad?
I've got a USG, cloud key, and several APs. My USG appears to be dying and I'm trying to figure out how to move forward. Should I just replace it with another USG? I'd like to replace it with a Dream Machine Pro and a friend recently did the same in their own environment and they love it. Since I'm already invested in the Ubiquiti sphere, I'd prefer not to have to buy all new access points and such. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I've been trying to find the name of a song from The Grand Tour on Amazon, but there's only a few seconds of music and none of the Shazam-like applications can identify it. Is there a Lemmy community for helping people identify music? If anyone is curious about the song, I'm linking it below: [The Grand Tour - Battleship song](https://youtu.be/LfiIr83EtRU&t=101)
Lost my wife (34) to cancer last month and I haven't found any good resources to help me. How do you cope with their loss? Please remove if this isn't allowed.
How's the performance? Any issues?
I've got a large 3" 4-piece Mendo Mulcher with kief catcher, but removing the grind plate is very difficult with the lid on. I also have a small Brilliant Cut grinder, but they don't have an option for a catcher, which I sort of prefer. How is the Santa Cruz Shredder? What is everyone else using, besides sissors or quarters in medicine bottles?
This is one of the communities that I wanted to create on Lemmy (if I knew how). I'm hoping someone creates Leopardsatemyface and Gamingcirclejerk.
I mainly stream games from my desktop via Steam. Is there a good software to manage my non-steam games so I can play them remotely via Steam (to automate the process of adding the games/launchers to Steam)?
