I have run OctoPrint on a LePotato, and it runs absolutely fine for me. It feels responsive and good, though I have no frame of reference for comparison.
Installing it was easy, as there was a simple guide and program available. :::

Man, that Nook is teaching everybody hard truths about capitalism.

It's an amazing rogue like for sure. It's tough to get started but before I knew it I had over 150 hours into it, a golden crown on my head and a golden amulet on my character.

Enjoy the deep rabbit hole you're about to jump in! I've got all the DLC, and no regrets.

I did not expect to see an MFM reference here!

How did you get started with selling 3d prints? Where are you selling your things?

How do you come across those side projects?

I love Stardew Valley but I do tend to struggle with this. Frequently, I find myself slipping into checklist mode ("gotta give a quartz to this person, run over to Clint to get cracking, get back in time to get the iron out").
It is super satisfying to design a cool farm, though!

I know! This was, of course, just for the pdfs. I regret not getting them for sure! That's why I'm not letting that's Dolmenwood Kickstarter slip through my fingers.

I'm exactly the same! The procedural style of gameplay takes so much self-imposed pressure off my shoulders, and random tables really help spark my creativity and allows me to GM more comfortably.

I know what you mean! When Arden Vul was in that 25 euro bundle a while ago, I skipped it because it didn't seem feasible or fun to run. Now that 3DSDTL have been running it, I regret not buying it so cheaply back then!

While the xyz site has the best technical specs you can find online, I can recommend Zach Freedman's original YouTube video about it as the best introduction to the what and why of the system.

Same here! I'd given up on GMing for a few years but this made me want to get back into it.

3D6DTL is a wonderful podcast! I love the proactive attitude from the players, the ever-present "yes and" attitude from Jon, and just the style and mood overall!

Just to note, you don't need a Pi to run Octoprint. I used Octoprint Deploy to run it on a LePotato and it runs like a charm.

To me, this is the core of 3D printing and why I got into it. Our house needs loads of little custom solutions, and that's where 3D printing really shines.

Thanks for the advice! Fortunately, our Fokoos comes with a direct drive, so that's checked off already. I think our major hurdle right now will be to keep filament properly dry, as I read TPU can get quite finicky with that.
I hadn't thought of the printing speed yet, though - appreciate the help!

Last Day of June was also a lovely and emotional experience for me. I hope you'll enjoy it as well!

What did you need to do to get your printer ready? Anything you've learned to make it easier a second time?
I just picked up this lovely bundle of Worldographer keys along with 11 icon sets for a fraction of the regular price. It looks intimidating but powerful! If anybody has any good advice on resources to get started with it, I'd love to get some tips as well.
