What beautiful play on shadows and reflections! Didn't know this artist, but it's awesome

At this point I wonder if there are some internal politics that want this project to fail and be over. 70 price tag, live service but only on ubisoft platform, ignoring the most demanded features, etc.
It's like they are tired of a project that was a money black hole for years and they just want to pull the plug.

I love Sufjan Stevens, but I don't see the comparison. While I really love his lyrics (one of the few I actually like them, I usually find most artist lyrics to be plain and way too cheesy), his music is very simple compared to a behemoth like Mozart.
Mozart was able to write highly complex music very fast, that went from deep themes to silly ones, and enjoyed popularity from both critics and public, which is something quite rare.
I don't which one would be the closest today. Maybe something like Williams or Ennio Morricone.

Messiah was actually part of the first dune in the original design, although Herbert later splitted it.
Children is something else, even if it shares the characters, it's very much a setup for God Emperor. It has very different themes and style. Same with Heretics.
IMHO Dune is better seen as three duologies: Dune+Messiah, Children+God Emperor and Heretics and Chapterhouse.

Haven't tasted olive oil from Turkey, but Greek oil is very good, stronger than most Italian or Spanish. But it's very expensive, and it's suffering more from droughts and fires.
Portuguese is the same as southern Spain, mostly Picual variety. However it's not really much cheaper despite what the article claims, unless you go for shit quality.
IMHO go for the cheapest in your area that is extravirgin certified and the variety you like.

That's the traditional italian way. Instead of using hard dry mozzarella that can be grated, you get super soft fresh mozzarella and slice and put on top.

That's sick! There are many fantasy ranges in 3d that imho are even better than GWs, and they are gonna explore im popularity with old world. Last Sword are my favorite, so much character.

Not to mention, Pomegranate in Spanish is Granada, literally Grenade. It's also one of the more famous regions in Spain, and it exports a lot of that fruit, which, as is usually the csse, has both Spanish and Portuguese on the labels to reduce costs.
No one in Portugal should jump to that conclusion unless they are ridiculously xenophobic.

The texture healing technique is technically brilliant, but imho looks weird.
I will stick to Source Code Pro.

3.0 and 3.3 were big on optimization iirc.
They also moved to the custodian system which makes stellaris easily the most polished and stable of all of Paradox games

It's easier if you don't think it as actual gender, and just as grammar. You have "el televisor" (masculine) and "la tele" o "la tv" (femenine), both meaning "the tv". It's more about how the word ends than anything.
Still, it's something that if someone gets it wrong, it sounds off but everyone still understands. No one is going to care for a foreigner saying that wrong. There's no really a confusion to be had there.
But time/weather can lead to actual misunderstandings.

In general I think Spanish is a well formed language without (or at least not much) crazy shit.
But I still don't know why we have the same fucking word for weather and time. While using the same word for different meanings is ok, these two are ridiculously common concepts used a lot and it's not hard to get into situations where it's hard to know which is which. Absolutely stupid.

Men cannot participate in Women competitions but Women can go to Mens. No one is scared of women, and this is done to promote the game to women.
This is the same as with other sports, like Rallying.

None, in modern context we can work in any base we desire, all that basic stuff got generalized ages ago. No one is going to change computing systems to use babylonian-style. And the trigonometry stuff is the same thing we knew, but discovered earlier than the greeks.
It's a important discovery for sure, especially for our understanding of ancient Mesopotamian cultures, but everything else is the authors and the article going bananas with conclusions.

Humanity will survive this but everyone will suffer the effects. Even something relatively minor like COVID had great effects to the global economy, but with these we are talking about:
-
Weather inestabilization, with greater storms and massive heat waves.
-
General crop failures in many places of the world.
-
Desertification in many areas.
-
Massive migration waves.
-
Very difficult and unstable economy.
We are starting to see some of this, but 2050 onwards is going to be a very difficult time for all humanity except the most wealthy.

I kind of agree with your points, but I think there has to be a distinction of libs. Most deps should be static IMHO. But something like OpenSSL I can understand if you go with dynamic linking, especially if it's a security critical program.
But for "string parsing library #124" or random "gui lib #35".. Yeah, go with static.
New album "End" from EitS. Slighty different sound than usual (less crescendo, more texture), but still pretty good IMHO.
Until 2003, Godspeed You! Black Emperor had a cellist, Norsola Johnson, which I think gave them a very unique sound especially in the album linked (Lift your skinny fists like antennas to heaven). However, while they do have a violin in the new albums, the sound is quite different. What other bands use cello? This patch of sky is one (and fantastic), but they disbanded in 2019. Gregor Samsa used to have one but they swapped to violin as well (and their style was very different anyway). Three Silver MtZion doesn't have their cellist anymore as well.
