One good indicator that Lemmy is becoming popular is how many people are posting their bits on it!

Simultanous enshittification. If they see that the competitors are enshittifying, then it's the perfect opportunity to enshittify themselves without the risk of losing significant market share to the competitors! Every gets worse; no one loses except the users, and who gives a shit about those poors? /s

It's definitely a higher engagement ratio or whatever the right term is for it! I do love that!
I know Kbin will grow in time but I miss how huge Reddit was.
A question for our dear admin, [@ernest](https://kbin.social/u/@ernest) , (I hope I tagged that right) what is the best way **for Kbin's sake** to upload pictures on here? Should we use a third party site to reduce the burden, or does that not matter much? If so, which third party site works best for Kbin's uhhh code... structure? idk, I don't know anything about websites, I just don't want to like, create problems or anything!
Hi, been trying to upload some of my old stuff from reddit onto here, but I can't seem to get the gifs to show up in preview? Sometimes they don't show up at all, other times as a static image, but I've definitely seen animated gif previews on here! Anyone have insight?
Hi, what is the most KBin friendly/compatible site for gif uploads? I can't seem to upload them as pictures here. [\#kbinMeta](https://kbin.social/tag/kbinMeta)
