About model trains and railroading. DIY or professional.
I'm currently working to completely rework the layout my father and I own. One of the bigest musts is continuous traffic. I saw this trainstation plan and quite liked it. The "dead-End" from Track 2 is for additional expansion in the future. Do you have any ideas and suggestions? What do you think of it? Some more information: Length x Width: 3m x 1.2m Max. train length in the above ground station: 1.3 m (to not block switches) Max. train length in the shadow station: 1.5 m Height between the two layers: 10 cm Max. slope: 3.3 % Some more screenshots: ![](https://feddit.de/pictrs/image/e6a0c62f-73db-41b8-a5ff-7e1ebcf32f41.png) Upper Layer: ![](https://feddit.de/pictrs/image/9ddd24fc-7df2-42a2-b073-50966c5e0c66.png) Lower Layer: ![](https://feddit.de/pictrs/image/111211d4-a4a4-4f55-9eb6-92fb0d5cc07f.png)
I'm trying my hand at weathering. It still takes some time, but I like the effect. Lower two are from Kleinbahn (austrian manufacturerer) Upper one is the Saxonia set from Pico (with some missing parts sadly)
Scratch built from 16x150mm wooden sticks
The trains look a bit bare without cargo, so I'm trying to build some myself. I want two or three more bars and then I have to think about how I'm gonna get it fixed in place.
Yes, it runs under it's own Power. It's a Breuer Tractor! Sitting on a small Diorama I made as a Gift for a friend.
I like this tiny little engine.
