So far, I've unsubbed and unfollowed her everywhere, but since I don't have any close friends (not even online, long story short: a lot of my former online communities have fallen apart or changed for the worst, then I even forgot how to socialize online), all I have now is emptiness. Due to my circumstances, I don't have many option to socialize in real life (nor professional help, long story short: my country defunds public health care, especially the mental one, because "you can just pray instead"), and I also need some social rehabilitation on the online side (which kinda was a thing for a while on kbin/lemmy, probably I could continue it if I manage to find some mentoring).

This seems like a really great framework for thinking about how to help people suffering from any illness, physical, mental, or otherwise. I really appreciate how Hank has been so transparent about his experience with cancer, and how he's using it as an opportunity to try and share his experiences and knowledge with people despite his situation. I think he's giving us a lot to learn from and think about.

Someone near and dear to me living in the US (FL) needs OCD treatment but can't really afford it (both money and time wise). Any good resources out there for relatively cheap and/or very accessible? As a first step of course, CBT is, as far as I understand it, something we could help them afford/have time for eventually. Thanks. I can elaborate further in the comments if needed.

I gotta be honest y'all, there's a lot of things that are mentally exhausting, but I think moving has got to be one of the worst ones. Packing up all the stuff you own, just to move it somewhere else in the hot summer heat. Can't afford a house, so it won't be the last time. Realizing all of the garbage you've collected over the last few years, and reeling at the sheer amount of stuff there is to donate or throw away. It's just completely exhausting. I really hope someday the housing situation in this country mellows out so we never have to go through this again. [\#mentalhealth](https://kbin.social/tag/mentalhealth)
