Goth Industrial Music

I'm looking for some industrial/electro-industrial with a "warm" sound to it... basically something like Boards of Canada but with more rhythmic and harsh percussion. Can anyone here recommend something that might fit?

- invidious versions: https://redirect.invidious.io/watch?v=ZfV7NLCWiiU > Nine Inch Nails had the largest crowd density at the event, overshadowing many of the other performers. Just before going on stage, they wrestled each other in the mud and went on to perform completely wet and covered in mud.[18] In the post-performance interview, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor claimed he thought his band's performance was "terrible" due to technical difficulties on stage.[19] Reznor admitted that while he disliked playing at such a large show, it was done for the money: "To be quite frank, it's basically to offset the cost of the tour we're doing right now."[20] Their performance of "Happiness in Slavery" at the festival won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1996.[21] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodstock_%2794 This is the 300th post on [!gothindustrial@lemmy.world](https://lemmy.world/c/gothindustrial) !

Go ahead and downvote... it's OK, I get it... They've been described as "goth clowns", which is doubtlessly just as offensive to goths as it is to clowns. But I'm pretty sure that's the point. Think of them as shitposters; they're the best shitposters in the business. - invidious version: https://invidious.fdn.fr/watch?v=p5zuqbEYD9w - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insane_Clown_Posse

Hi everyone! - This community's 300th post is coming up soon! this post is number 298 - The first post here was made July 9th of last year, which is just a couple weeks away! I don't know what to post, since I went through most of my playlist from August to March and all I've got left is My Chemical Romance and Insane Clown Posse. ~~But I'm planning to post at least once or twice a week anyway.~~ So if you have anything you want to post, now's a great time to do it! (thank you @crimeschneck@feddit.nl for posting recently.)

"widely regarded as pioneers of industrial music" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Throbbing_Gristle This is one of Throbbing Gristle's more accessible songs, and it was released as a single. So for the album version, they sped up the song so it only lasted 16 seconds: - https://throbbinggristle.bandcamp.com/track/united https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United/Zyklon_B_Zombie

The album is Die Und Immer, by S.I.N.A (the same people from Pzychobitch). [There's a full album upload on YouTube](https://youtu.be/Way2dbq8148?feature=shared), but I wanted to know if any music streaming service has it before just downloading from YT. I'm not asking for piracy, ~~even though I'm not not asking for it,~~ just a streaming with the individual songs. Thanks if anyone finds out, and if you never heard it I highly recommend it. Sounds amazing.

Darkwave "I'm shifting in and out of phase The other side is face to face I fear it might be permanent This time I might have strayed too far This world Almost looks like home But I know it's just a clone Afraid I'll never get back to the place where I am from Impossible to recognize Too many streams to analyse I'm faced with my mortality Obstructed by causality Your face... almost looks familiar Like I've seen you in my dreams But subtle differences remind me it's not you I never existed in the world where you come from I am only an illusion"

> The video depicts Front Line Assembly inserted into clips of the Japanese science fiction film Gunhed.[10] The Japanese film company let Front Line Assembly use any footage of the film in exchange for the right to use any changes the band would make for themselves. ... > [Band member] Bill Leeb considered their approach to writing to be quite unconventional. "I was shown some footage first", said Leeb, "we actually wrote the song to the footage. Also the lyrics were written to the footage."[12] "There was a lot of brainstorming between us and the people involved in the video", added [Band member] Rhys Fulber.[12] According to the band it was rather the images than the actual plot of the film the video clip is based on that inspired writing. "The actual storyline is kind of hard to follow because it's all in Japanese obviously", Fulber explained. Although "even just visually it's hard to follow [...] it's just the imagery we found quite amazing." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactical_Neural_Implant

> While Alain Jourgensen was living in London, he met Ian MacKaye. MacKaye had been in Washington D.C. punk bands The Teen Idles, Minor Threat, Skewbald/Grand Union, Egg Hunt and Embrace and was on the verge of forming Fugazi, while Jourgensen was taking his band Ministry into new territory—away from the more pop sound of With Sympathy and toward the harder sound of The Land of Rape and Honey. The two found common ground both musically and politically and decided to collaborate on a project that would fuse elements of industrial music with hardcore punk. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pailhead
