Common Room
Title says it all really and the WH Common Room seems like a good place to ask. I'm looking for the Fediverse equivalents of r/bujo, r/basicbulletjournals and/or r/minibulletjournals. Lemmyverse.com doesn't seem to have any communities showing activity. I'm only really interested in productivity based bullet journalling. Not art based. TIA.
As my first post in the lemmyverse, I'd like to share a few of my favorite things: Crochet to keep my hands and brain busy, fountain pens,brush pens and notebooks for journaling, books to read and my tablet and surface for some cozy gaming. My hobby room is temporarily changed to guest bedroom, and I had to pick what I wanted to have on hand for the coming 2 weeks. What are a few of your favorite things?
This evening as I'm browsing Lemmy, I'm getting nostalgic for the other, past experiences of something new and rough around the edges. I open a tab to [We Distribute](www.wedistribute.org), and find an article on [Radio Free Fedi](https://wedistribute.org/2023/06/radio-free-fedi/). I read it and click the link to [Radio-browser.info](https://www.radio-browser.info/). I click around exploring some music. Notice there is a Home-Assistant integration. Then I fire up my instance of Home-Assistant to install it. LOL, I already have it installed. I click around exploring radio stations. I'm reminded of the early internet days of icecast streams playing in Winamp. New, exciting, rough around the edges. I pull at threads of memory. I browse to [SomaFM](https://somafm.com/) and fire up Groove Salad in WinAmp. I listen, I chill, I pull at threads farther back. I pick up my Kindle and open up the book, *Neuromancer*. Reading, grooving, chilling. I'm remembering a past that didn't quite exist, reading about an imagined 80s future that never quite came to be. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
Uno, Settlers of Catan, the Witcher 3?
Ahhh, had a night of rain and thunderstorms. This morning it is cool, crisp, with a feeling of the air cleansed. Sipping warm, comforting coffee like it is going to be a good day. How's your Friday starting/ending/I'mtimezonehandicapped? :P
